Taking into account the current trends of globalization, digitalization, actualization of "green" innovations in the life of mankind, the educational policy of civilized countries is dominated by the ...problem of the cultural layer of the individual. In this regard, scientists are actively analyzing the leading factors, in particular, the process of formation of the ecological culture of the younger generation. Researchers have already assessed the advantages of a value-based psychological approach that determines the understanding of the role of environmental consciousness in the development of an individual's eco-culture, as well as a structural-component representation of the phenomenon of "ecological consciousness". This made it possible, on the one hand, to comprehend the problem raised from the point of view of the ecological culture of the individual in the period of mature adolescence, where the key is environmental consciousness (a fusion of environmental knowledge, assessment of the environmental situation, environmental behaviour); on the other hand, to detail the local history principle, taking as a basis the regional identity of the Ukrainian Danube, which is associated with the Danube River, its transboundary role in the formation of the ecological consciousness of the student youth of the united Europe. The conducted psychological discourse made it possible to establish that the content of the development of the ecological culture of the individual and its parameter - ecological etiquette, is mainly studied within the framework of the subject specificity of cultural studies and pedagogy. Meanwhile, practitioners of higher education feel the need for a complete understanding of them, which is possible as a result of research into the specifics of the psychological support of these processes. This was the purpose of our study, and its main methods were: a thematic questionnaire, including two options for closed questions - self-evaluative judgments of the respondent regarding the degree of manifestation of environmental etiquette and awareness of the problems of the Danube ecology, the role of student social and environmental initiatives in intensifying the process of European integration.
Residents are one of the most significant stakeholder groups in ecologically vulnerable regions, and the local ecological environmental governance efforts require their active cooperation and ...participation. To this end, this study leverages the sampled survey data from residents across 14 cities in Guangxi, China, and uses a structural equation modeling analysis to explore the impact of environmental education perception on residents’ ecological security behavior. The results indicate that psychological ownership of nature plays a positive mediating role between environmental education perception and residents’ ecological security behavior, as well as between ecological consciousness and residents’ ecological security behavior, thereby supporting the idea that a sense of stewardship in protecting ecological security is a key factor in residents’ conversion of their ecological protection cognition into practical actions. Further research finds that visual fluency has a moderating effect on the relationship between environmental education perception and psychological ownership of nature. This study provides new insights into the theoretical understanding of the formation mechanism of residents’ ecological security behavior, enriches the theory of psychological ownership, and offers policy recommendations for governments implementing ecological environmental propaganda programs.
The paper is a study of Sabina Berman’s (1956 -) novel The woman who dived into the heart of the world (2010). In this work, the Mexican writer presents aspects of the historic and social reality of ...her immediate social environment. She focuses on the phenomenon of violence and how it is reflected within the family and in the society, as well as in the animal world, through a feminist and ecological perspective. Berman on the basis of the reality of the contemporary Mexican society, builds the personality of the protagonist, Karen Nieto, who was the victim of domestic violence because she was autistic, and consequently different from other children. In the present article, a literary analysis of violence, its various forms and their role in the novel is made, through a historical and cultural approach. The study documents the relationship of literature and reality, and shows how the thematic nucleus of violence is directly related to the established norms, in the specific social environment of the novel. These norms determine the life of the protagonist.
The present article investigates the notion of economy (of nature) in Thoreau’s Walden or Life in the Woods (1854); it introduces the context of coining the concept of economy of nature, presents the ...challenges of exploring nature in Romantic thought, and finally deals with Thoreau’s concept of “economy” as discussed in the first chapter of his opus magnum. Despite its historical grounding in the Romantic tradition and in the tradition of American Transcendentalism, Thoreau’s idea of “economy” represents a remarkably fresh version of a sustainable lifestyle, combining scientific observation with profound philosophical and poetic insights.
The shift from production-based to consumption-based societies has seen consumption transformed from a means of meeting material needs to a method of creating a personal identity. Citizens of ...affluent countries increasingly seek a sense of self from their consumption activity instead of their workplace, class or community. Environmental appeals to change consumption behaviour implicitly ask people not merely to change their behaviour but to change their sense of personal identity. This can be threatening and makes more difficult the emergence of a new ecological consciousness, although the phenomenon of downshifting provides some grounds for optimism.
The article discusses the results of empirical research in the framework of ascertaining experiment, the purpose of which was to assess the level of environmental consciousness formation of the ...secondary school adolescent girls. The results analysis was carried out on the intensity levels of subjective relations, such as: perceptive-affective, cognitive and behavioral. To diagnose each component the technique of "Naturafil" was used, which helped to identify the nature of development level of ecological consciousness. Information processing within the framework of the expected results evaluation criterion was carried out on the basis of mathematical statistics methods included in the data analysis package of MS Excel software application. Significant differences in the studied parameters between the groups were revealed by the determination coefficient.

The research aimed to find alternative resource of inspiration and motivation for the churches to respond the ecological crisis through the concept of koinonia on two documents of church: DKG–PGI ...2019–2024 and Encyclical Laudato Si’. The research used literature study approach. Green farming is the inevitable path to solving the problem of pasture ecological protection and a fundamental guarantee to realize the high-quality development of grassland animal husbandry. This ...study explores the differences in green farming behaviors of different operating agents in grassland pastoral areas. The mechanism of the formation of the differences is based on 274 working agents’ survey data from Xilin Gol league pastoral areas in Inner Mongolia, China, by constructing the Logit model and Fairlie decomposition method. The results show that family ranch is the primary operating agent of green farming in China’s grassland pastoral areas. The green farming behavior is 2.115 times more extreme than that of traditional pastoralists. Differences in the intensity of green farming behavior of the operating agents were significantly and positively correlated with differences in their ecological consciousness and differences in resource endowment. Differences in ecological consciousness and participation in training were the key factors contributing to the differences in the intensity of green farming behavior among the operators, with ecological consciousness contributing 51.34% and participation in training contributing 46.65% to the differences in the intensity of green farming behaviors. Therefore, to enhance the effective transformation of traditional pastoralists’ green farming behavior, we should guide them to raise ecological consciousness, focus on the role of resource endowment, and gradually form a new grassland animal husbandry development where green farming behavior fully landed.
