Since the Ministry of Education launched Education Informatization 2.0, the digitalization of colleges and universities has entered a stage of rapid growth. However, after more than 20 years of ...construction, problems such as system barriers and information islands have emerged in the digital construction of university systems. In order to solve such problems between the university systems, this paper proposes an easily expandable and configurable open information integration architecture by considering traditional information integration methods and combining with Web service technology. The architecture handles user service invocation information through a service layer, and manages the registration and invocation of services through a service module. The permission module manages user permissions to prevent information leakage and security issues. The data module abstracts data-related services to provide a basis for the deep use of data. And other optional development services are designed to satisfy special requirements for different platforms. The architecture proposed in this paper can integrate different heterogeneous subsystems in colleges and universities, eliminating the problem of system barriers and information islands, and providing specifications for the construction of new applications.
Process digitization and integration is an increasing need for enterprises. At the same time, process platform-as-a-service (PPaaS) vendors (e.g., business process- or integration-as-a-service) and ...their customers strive to minimize the cost of operation of platforms and processes. While current PPaaS technology mainly runs in single-clouds, multicloud settings are gaining importance. However, their promised freedom of selecting the best option for a specific problem is currently not realized. Moreover, important cloud-aspects like security constraints are handled in a cost-intensive manner for PPaaS vendors (e.g., by isolating tenants at container level). This leads to security vs. costs goal conflicts, while costs remain intransparent to process modelers.
In this work, we propose a design-time placement method for processes in multiclouds that is cost-optimal for PPaaS problem sizes, and respects configurable security constraints of their customers. To make the solution tractable for larger, productive PPaaS processes deployments, it is relaxed by using a local search heuristic, and complemented by correctness-preserving model decomposition. This allows for a novel perspective on cost-aware process modeling from a process modeler’s perspective.
The multicloud process placement is evaluated on real-world integration processes with respect to cost- and runtime-efficiency, resulting in interesting trade-offs. The process modeler’s perspective is investigated based on a new cost-aware modeling process, featuring the interaction between the user and the PPaaS vendor through ad-hoc multicloud cost calculation and correctness-preserving, process cost reduction proposals.

The purpose of this study is to conduct a bibliometric analysis to examine the most influential journals, institutions, and countries in social media (SM) publications related to knowledge management ...(KM). Moreover, various research themes in SM KM publications are also explored. VOSviewer was employed to process 234 SM KM publications retrieved from Web of Science (WoS) in the time period 2009-2019. Different methodologies were used according to the nature of bibliometric analysis and explained in each section. Journal of Knowledge Management was the most influential journal in SM KM publications. USA and England ranked first and second respectively, while the Tampere University of Technology was the most productive institute in SM KM research. Four emerged themes indicated an explicit contribution of SM users in KM through big data, knowledge sharing, innovation, Enterprise 2.0, and social capital. This is the first bibliometric study that explores the overall contribution of SM publications in the KM field.
The introduction of smart contracts has expanded the applicability of blockchains to many domains beyond finance and cryptocurrencies. Moreover, different blockchain technologies have evolved that ...target special requirements. As a result, in practice, often a combination of different blockchain systems is required to achieve an overall goal. However, due to the heterogeneity of blockchain protocols, the execution of distributed business transactions that span several blockchains leads to multiple interoperability and integration challenges. Therefore, in this article, we examine the domain of Cross-Chain Smart Contract Invocations (CCSCIs), which are distributed transactions that involve the invocation of smart contracts hosted on two or more blockchain systems. We conduct a systematic multi-vocal literature review to get an overview of the available CCSCI approaches. We select 20 formal literature studies and 13 high-quality gray literature studies, extract data from them, and analyze it to derive the CCSCI Classification Framework. With the help of the framework, we group the approaches into two categories and eight subcategories. The approaches differ in multiple characteristics, e.g., the mechanisms they follow, and the capabilities and transaction processing semantics they offer. Our analysis indicates that all approaches suffer from obstacles that complicate real-world adoption, such as the low support for handling heterogeneity and the need for trusted third parties.
Many business organizations have information systems, but most still operate separately as a silo. The problem that arises is that there is ineffectiveness in the process that is in the application. ...So the need for an integrated information system that can access two or more systems in the organization is needed. The system integration process is carried out using Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) method at the application interface level. This method is used to integrate academic information systems (SIAMIK) and library information systems (SIPERPUS). The results of this study are that both applications are connected without changing source codes from both applications. The integrated system design can facilitate the admin in the process of registering new users from the SIPERPUS application.
ObjectivesDesigning the hardware resources of the whole warship from the top level and making comprehensive use of the information resources among different equipment is the inevitable requirement of ...information design. Under this trend, the integrated information service system for warships was proposed.MethodsFirst of all, the design objectives and general plan are analyzed. The information infrastructure is used for planning the overall hardware resources. The software structure is composed of a system management module and an information service module. Then it discusses the software design and implementation ideas from the aspects of the application integration platform design and information application design. In the application integration platform design, the integrated design concept about B/S applications and C/S applications involves using Docker technology and software integrated management warehouses which were analyzed respectively. In information application, the design of the functional module of the message push service was mainly discussed to realize "information for the crew and pushing on demand".ResultsBased on the above design ideas, the system design is completed, which has realized functions such as integrated management for various applications and message pushing, etc.ConclusionsThe operation of the system meets the design objectives, improves the information level of the whole warship, and also helps to improve the efficiency of the crew.

Agriculture is a complex industry based on science. Agriculture relies on systems of climate-standard analysis: solar energy, heat, moist and systems for the area of field operation patterns: soil chemical composition, plant nutrition, genetic improvement, pest and disease control, harvesting. We believe that the new paradigm to increase efficiency in this segment goes through the adoption of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Our empirical study is about the use and diffusion of ERP systems in a view of interoperability between different software packages with a view on business analysis functionality when taking a step further in farm management information system (FMIS). We hope this work can bring a theoretical and practical contribution for the agribusiness field and also increase debates about the platforms on cloud computer based on ERP, Enterprise 2.0 and Industry 4.0. The research presented in this study was carried out with 375 farmers in Brazil. The data gathering instrument used for the quantitative research was built based on the result of the qualitative (in-depth) study in combination with three theories: Diffusion of Innovation Theory (DOE), Technology-Organization-Environment Framework (TOE), and Inter-organizational Relations (IOR). The construct information sharing (IS) taken from IOR was applied to perform a moderator role on the measurement of ERP adoption stages. The results indicate the significant drivers for evaluation, adoption, and routinisation. Also, as a result, it was found that Information Sharing influence the relationship between evaluation and adoption positively. Moreover, the theoretical and managerial implications of the research results are also debated in the paper.
