Prikazana je statička i dinamička analiza ravninskih i prostornih visećih kabela. U praksi postoje konstrukcijski elementi mehaničko ponašanje kojih se može opisati idealiziranim matematičkim modelom ...ovješenoga elastičnog kabela. Primjer za to su vlačno opterećeni kabeli visećih i ovješenih mostova. Razumijevanje njihova ponašanja bitno je za analizu stabilnosti ovješenih konstrukcija. U radu je primijenjen sustav nelinearnih jednadžbi za određivanje inicijalnog oblika kabela.
In designing a prestressed concrete cable stayed bridge, such important problems like finding the optimal value of cable stay forces and girder prestress as well as the selecting arrangement of stay ...cable, shape of main girder, etc. has to be overcome. In this study, a method of optimization considering a combination of the stay cable forces, the girder prestressing, creep and shrinkage of concrete and construction process is developed based on the strain energy criterion proposed by Yamada, Furukawa, et al. And also an optimization system to determine automatically both cable stay forces and girder prestress is developed using a personal computer. A few prestressed concrete cable stayed bridges on which much data have been published are analyzed to demonstrate the applicability of this system. The results obtained are sufficient to apply in the determination of both the optimal value of cable stay forces and girder prestress of the prestressed concrete cable stayed bridge.
One of the problems to be clarified today is how to determine the values of cable stay forces to be introduced when designing the prestressed concrete cable stayed bridges. In the previous study, the ...authors proposed a method of optimization of cable stay forces where the minimum strain energy criterion was adopted from the structural point of view. Considering the economic aspects of the design, this paper presents another criterion based on the minimum cost. It also discusses a comparison between two criteria. The result shows that the minimum strain energy and minimum cost criteria give almost the same cable forces and costs when span lengths are adequately proportioned.
The topic of this paper is an experimental analysis of the dynamic behaviour of stays of an existing footbridge focusing on determination of the tensile forces in stays. The examined structure was ...the footbridge across the Vltava river in Lužec nad Vltavou. It is a cable-stayed footbridge, the horizontal load-bearing structure consists of UHPC components, which are prestressed by a pair of external cables. The horizontal load-bearing structure is suspended on a 39.85 m high A-shaped steel pylon by means of a system of 17 pairs of stays. As a part of the work the tensile forces in stays were determined using the vibration frequency method. The method is based on the knowledge of natural frequencies of the stays, which were investigated by the experimental analysis.
В процессе анализа объектов-аналогов, выявлены их достоинства, недостатки и приведена сравнительная таблица, подобран рациональная схема покрытия. Выполнен сравнительный анализ трёх вариантов системы ...стабилизации применяемого мембранного покрытия. Построена конечно-элементная модель, а также произведены расчёты основных несущих элементов, таких как мембрана покрытия, опорный контур, центральное и промежуточное кольца, вантовая система и ответственных узлов покрытия как аналитически, так и в программно-вычислительном комплексе (SCAD Office) с учётом различных статико-геометрических параметров и сочетаний загружений. Производится расчёт здания на прогрессирующее обрушение, с аналогией по СКК «Петербургский» – выключение из работы связей мембраны с опорным контуром.
The structural behaviour of prestressed stayed columns is investigated through nonlinear finite element modelling. The models were developed using the commercial software ABAQUS and validated against ...a series of recently conducted experiments. The sensitivity of the load-carrying capacity to the geometry of the stayed column, the initially applied prestress level within the stays and the initial global imperfection is investigated through parametric studies. It is found that there is a substantial increase in load-carrying capacity with increasing cross-arm length, provided the critical buckling mode remains symmetric. Once the critical buckling mode becomes antisymmetric, mode interaction becomes significant and the load-carrying capacity reaches a plateau and the component generally becomes more sensitive to imperfections. It is also found that the relative level of initial prestress required to maximize the load-carrying capacity of a given stayed column tends to reduce with increasing cross-arm length.

In September 1999, a cable-stayed footbridge was opened to the public close to the railway station in Herning, Denmark. The footbridge is a key element in a research and development project regarding ...the use of new non-corrodible materials in bridge construction. All 16 cable stays are made of carbon-fibre-reinforced polymer (CFRP) cables, as are the six non-bonded post-tensioning tendons in the bridge deck. The reinforcement in half of the bridge deck consists of CFRP bars and stirrups. The reinforcement in the other part of the concrete deck is a combination of stainless steel (AISI 316) and conventional "black" reinforcement steel.
