Current economic and socio-cultural factors influencing the functionalities and ...uses of the development are evaluated. A multifactorial spatial analysis was carried out to draw conclusions on the need to change the urban planning approach to the development of the Silinka River floodplain, including the improvement of transport accessibility of the Silinsky Park and revitalization of abandoned and ineffective industrial areas.
Narrowing regional economic gaps and constructing an environmentally friendly society are two major objectives of China's current economic policies. Promoting green development in resource-based ...regions is a global issue. Focusing on China's Western Development Strategy (WDS), this study first calculates the provincial green economic efficiency (GEE) in China. The synthetic control method is adopted to evaluate the net effect of WDS on regional GEE. The transmission mechanisms are then investigated in perspective of the interregional flow of innovation factors. The results show that: (1) The GEE in coastal areas of China is generally higher than that of western China; (2) The WDS can improve the overall regional GEE but the effect decays over time and through the diversity of the regions; (3) WDS can improve regional GEE by introducing innovation factors into the western regions, further improving the regional industrial structure, urbanization, and labor quality; (4) The optimal scale of innovation factors flowing into the WDS regions is calculated. The transmission mechanisms will have a positive effect on the GEE of the western regions simultaneously only if the inflow scale of the innovation factors varies on the interval (0.347, 0.618). The paper concludes with targeted policies to promote regional green development.

The conclusions came that the percentage of practice in the summer is more than the practice in the winter in the context of climatic changes, and the percentage of practice was (44%) compared to the percentage of practice in the winter by (35%), indicating that the effect of climatic changes in the winter season has a physiological effect on exercise. For the summer season, the recommendations were to apply climate change variables to all sports related to physical education and sports sciences
Well-known as “Paradise of Java”, Pacitan have a lot of coastal natural scenery and cultural attractions that potential to attract the tourist. One of the beach near town center of Pacitan as a main ...tourism destination is Pancer Door Beach. Even though have a lot of natural environment potential that interesting but this beach is less attractive to tourist to visit because of its natural potention, artificial, and cultural potention is not optimal. To explore further of the potential of Pancer Door Beach to be developed in the future, this research was carried out with a SWOT analysis approach to determine the internal and external factors that could be used as a development elements of this beach tourism. The stages of the research are exploring phenomena, interviewing keypersons and research respondents, direct observation of research objects related to the 4A tourism concept (attraction, accessibility, amenities, and ancilliary), then reviewing applicable regulations/standards/regulations to be cross-checked with theory and community needs, so it become the basis of the strategy for developing the Pancer Door Beach Tourism Area in the future. Keywords: Beach, Development Strategy, Potention, Tourism Attraction
Ecological security (ES) is a crucial indicator for assessing the sustainable development of a region. Currently, most studies on ES primarily focus on process analysis, and the integration of ...environmental variability into the development of tailored control strategies for regions with varying ecological quality is overlooked. Therefore, in this study, we identified regional ES change processes, employed an optimized system to calculate the ecological security index (ESI), and identified ecological corridors (ECs) through the Minimum Constrained Resource (MCR) model to determine zoning strategies for typical arid regions, using the Ningxia region in the Yellow River Basin of China as an example. The findings showed that (1) from 2006 to 2020, the ESI values of most regions were between 0.2 and 0.4, with small but consistent increases in the ESI values over the years. (2) The proportion of regions with high ES ratings increased by 9.08 % across all districts and counties, and the center of gravity of ES shifted in a north-south and east-west direction. (3) The ESI exhibited a strong positive spatial correlation, characterized by spatial diffusion and spillover effects in most regions. (4) The ECs were predominantly distributed in a north-south direction, involving a total of 20 districts and counties. Based on the principles of sustainable development, we developed a model for the dynamic identification and zoning control of regional ES, aiming to provide a practical framework for effective ecological restoration and protection measures. Additionally, the strategies and methodologies presented in this study serve as important references for similar regions worldwide to facilitate the zoning control of ES, highlighting the broader significance and applicability of the study.Ecological security (ES) is a crucial indicator for assessing the sustainable development of a region. The United States and Canada, along with Russia, Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Finland and Sweden, are the so-called "official" Arctic countries. In the 21st century, The United States and Canada have ...begun to implement national Arctic strategies and updated them. The accepted documents have both similarities and differences. The United States and Canada are active members of the Arctic Council and view it as a platform for negotiations on a wide range of issues related to the development of the Arctic. The United States has come a long way in the Arctic, including in terms of regulation. Unlike other Arctic countries, the United States has a minimal area of access to the Arctic Ocean, their strategy as a whole is turned “outward”. The first Canadian strategy for the development of the Northern Territories (2013) is addressed directly to the development of the northern periphery of the country, formulates tasks for its sustainable socio-economic development, the development of indigenous peoples, and the support of sovereignty. In 2019, the updated strategy presented already combined national and international goals for the development of the Arctic and the North. To advance national interests in the Arctic, the US and Canada have developed and funded a geographically, infrastructure, stakeholder, and thematically differentiated Arctic research policy in which higher education institutions play an important role and are used to reinforce their geopolitical aspirations. The purpose of the article is to characterize the features of the Arctic strategies of the USA and Canada, as well as to analyze the contribution of universities and colleges in Alaska (USA) and the northern territories and provinces of Canada to the implementation of research policy in the Far North and the Arctic. The practical significance of the paper is in the possibility of its use in the educational process, as well as for the analysis and updating of international aspects of research activities by universities in the Arctic zone of Russia.
