The purpose of developing beef cattle farming is to increase the population and productivity of cattle products followed by increasing farmers’ income, creating jobs and improving the genetic ...quality of beef cattle. The problem is that beef cattle farms in North Sulawesi are carried out in traditional management instead of eco-friendly; they are mostly developed by grazing on agricultural land. This study aims to identify the potential strategies to support the development of eco-friendly beef cattle farms. This study used a survey to analyze the role, opportunities and challenges of beef cattle farms in North Bolaang Mongondow Regency. The locations were purposively sampled to include the central area for government-initiative beef cattle development i.e. Sangkub, Bintauna and East Bolangitan districts. The data were subject to internal and external analysis using IFAS matrix, EFAS matrix and SWOT analysis.The results showed that the actual beef cattle population could be increased to 1.37 times. Development is carried out with an orientation to environment and sustainability using LEISA concept. The development of beef cattle was in a condition dominated by strength (the strength value of 1.882 or 76.59%). Opportunities are more quickly responded in the face of the threat of beef cattle development (the opportunity value of 1.842 or 68.09%). In conclusion, the development of beef cattle has a role in increasing the income of farmers and has market opportunities and the challenges can be minimized by increasing the productivity and quality of beef cattle that are environmentally oriented. Technology introduction is needed for the development of sustainable beef cattle farms.
Public demand for rice food has increased while the availability of organic rice is still limited. So that organic rice farming is more promising to be developed. This study aims to determine the ...agribusiness developing strategy for organic rice in the Astorahayu Organic Farmers Community, Astomulyo Village, Punggur District, Central Lampung Regency. The analytical methods used are IFE, EFE, IE, Analysis of Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats (SWOT), and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The analysis results showed that the IFE matrix's weight is 2.70, and the EFE matrix is 2.35. The IE matrix is in a hold and maintains position with a market penetration strategy and product development. SWOT analysis produces 12 alternative strategies that can be applied for organic rice expansion. The AHP results show that the level of criteria are the main priority in developing organic rice are increasing marketing and institutionalization with a weight of 0.301. At the objective level, the primary importance of developing the organic rice agribusiness system is expanding the production capacity of organic rice with a weight of 0.508. At the actor level, the farmer in the Astorahayu organic paddy community with a weight of 0.435. The primary priority alternative strategy is to improve the skills of organic rice cultivation by utilizing the cooperation of the organic farming community members to increase productivity with a weight of 0.183.
Island human activities damage the natural ecosystem with unique functions and support the social ecosystem for human survival and living. Identifying, quantifying, and spatially exhibiting the ...damage and support generated by human activities are of great significance for comprehensively revealing the anthropogenic influences on the island ecosystem and reasonably providing references for island development strategy. In this study, an evaluation model was established in perspectives of damage to the natural ecosystem and support for the social ecosystem. The damage involved geomorphology, landscape, habitat, and pollution, and the support included provision, accommodation, transportation, and recreation. The evaluation model was realized on the basis of the island use types, size effects, utilization levels, and change processes. Two new indices, namely, natural ecosystem damaged index (NEDI) and social ecosystem supported index (SESI), were proposed to represent the damage and support, respectively. Thereafter, scenario analysis was adopted to simulate the variations of NEDI and SESI in different scenarios of human activities and to provide references for the island development strategy. A total of ten islands in the Dongtou Archipelago in South China were used as the study area to demonstrate the model. Results indicated that the high NEDI and SESI areas were distributed in building, industrial, road, and reclamation areas, whereas the low NEDI and SESI areas were mainly located in vegetation areas and bare land. In different scenarios, the expansions of the road and building land generated much more damage than support, and the improvement of the utilization level produced more support than damage. The prohibition and limitation of island use types with low efficiency, the enhancement of vegetation restoration, the adequate use of reclamation area, the control of disordered exploitation expansion, and the improvement of utilization levels should be the strategies used by the Dongtou Archipelago for sustainable development. The application of the model validated its effectiveness and applicability in revealing the overall and spatial characteristics of the damage and support for islands and other coastal areas with intensive human activities.

concentrations by an average of 11.1 percentage points per year between 2014 and 2017. However, it does not appear to have had significant effects on Hebei’s GDP growth rate. The leave-one-out method demonstrates the robustness of the above results. This article suggests that Hebei should speed up its economic growth and bridge the gap with Beijing and Tianjin while ensuring the quality of its economic development and a sound ecological environment.

Rare disease (RD) patients face significant unmet therapeutic needs worldwide. However, orphan drugs approved in the United States, but not approved or developed in Japan, have increased rapidly with recently increasing US approvals, indicating greater RD drug loss in Japan. US/EU-based startups have become key players in RD drug R&D, significantly contributing to this drug loss trend. They successfully develop drugs in the United States by combining in-licensing with in-house drug discovery. Out-licensing to Japanese companies or large pharma is critical for expansion into Japan, with successes attributed to drug innovation, target indications, and transactional capabilities. These findings highlight the need to foster partnerships with startups and cultivate an ecosystem in Japan that nurtures local startups, to address drug loss and ensure access to promising drugs.

The results of this study indicate that innovation policy has a significant effect on productivity and Development Strategy has a significant effect on productivity. Satisfaction mediates the effect of innovation policy on productivity significantly and Satisfaction mediates the effect of development strategy on productivity significantly.
The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly changed the habits and needs of the world's population, global economy and all countries' economies. Tourism as a service sector of the economy suffered the ...most significant consequences at the beginning of the pandemic. According to data from the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), the tourism sector's contribution to the global economy could reach 8.6 trillion dollars this year, which is only 6.4% less than before the pandemic. Therefore, today's tourist management must be creative, determined and dedicated much more than before. The subject of this research is the accommodation capacities of military tourist institutions and their utilisation in tourism development in the Republic of Serbia. The work aims to examine the utilisation of accommodation capacities of all military tourist institutions, especially during the pandemic, to increase the tourism potential of the Republic of Serbia and, ultimately, the overall development of our country. The research results indicate that a significant number of unused military tourist accommodation capacities could participate in developing Serbia's tourism, but with prior investment in increasing their quality. Another conclusion is that experiences from the pandemic period should be used for further development.

Following the UN adoption of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in September 2015, the Government of Montenegro entered in the final phase of revising of National Strategy for Sustainable Development (NSSD 2030). Under the supervision of the National Council for Sustainable Development, Climate Change and Integrated Coastal Zone Management, an NSSD team of national and international experts was assembled under the coordination of the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism. To demonstrate commitment to the UN 2030 Agenda, Montenegro decided to center the NSSD 2030 on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), targets and indicators. One of the first UN member countries to implement the UN 2030 Agenda within the national policy context, Montenegro adopted its NSSD 2030 on July 7, 2016. As members of the NSSD team, here we 1) describe how the UN 2030 Agenda has been implemented within the policy context of Montenegro’s NSSD 2030, and 2) focus on the identification of the NSSD 2030 monitoring and reporting framework. Our key finding is that 26 institutions will be handling data for assessing 137 out of the 241 (56.8%) SDG indicators in the first reporting period scheduled for 2019. Although the paper deals with the implementation of the SDGs in Montenegro and its implications, we believe it will be useful in informing other countries in their process of national transposition and operationalization of the UN 2030 Agenda.
