Bu makaleye temel oluşturan bildiri ilk olarak 1973 yılında, T.C. Kültür Bakanlığı Folklor Dairesi tarafından Türk Tarih Kurumu’nda yapılan Türkiye’nin ilk Uluslararası Folklor Semineri’nde sunulmuş ...ve 1974 yılında yayımlanmıştır. 50 yıl sonra bu bildiriyi neden yeniden yayımlama ihtiyacı duydum sorusunun cevabını makale sonnot'unda açıkladım .Elazığ Masalları ve Propp Metodu” adlı doktora tezimde vardığım sonuçlar Elâzığdan derlenen masallarla sınırlıydı. Daha sonra hazırlanan ve makalenin temeli oluşturan bildiride ise Türkiye’nin çeşitli bölgelerinden derlenmiş masallar da Propp metoduna göre incelenmiş ve aynı sonuçlara ulaşılmıştı. Bu bildiride, Propp Medoduna masallarda yapıyı belirleyen 31 fonksiyondan yedisine eklediğim sekiz alt sınıf, yapının kültür ve inanç sistemiyle bağlantısını göstermesi açısından çok önemliydi. Ayrıca bu eklemeler yapıyla içeriğin dengeli bir bağlantı içinde olduğunu da göstermektedir. İndeksli Dergilerin hayatta olmadığı yıllarda akademik tez ve araştırmalarda bakılan en önemli ölçüt orijinal olmaktı. 1990’lı yıllarda bu konuda A.B.D. Indiana Üniversitesinde verdiğim konferans da çok kalabalık ve çok ilgi gören bir konuşma olmuştu. Çalışmamım zaman aşımına uğramamış olması onu yeni nesillerle buluşturmam gerektiğini düşündürdü. Bildiriyi sunduğumda 1973 yılında folklor çalışmaları büyük çoğunlukla amatör folklorcular tarafından yürütülmekteydi. Bildirimin içeriği büyük şaşkınlık yaratmış ve o zaman söz sahibi olan bu olgun folklorcular bana “Genç Masalcı” diye hitap etmişlerdi. O genç masalcının bildirisini bugünün genç araştırıcılarına sunuyorum. Bildirinin içeriğini aynen korudum ancak 50 yılda yenileşen Türkçe kullanımları eski kullanımların yerine yerine koydum.
Supportive relationships with counselor educators as dissertation chairs are valuable to doctoral students overcoming barriers to successful completion of their dissertations. Yet, few have examined ...the complex and mutually influenced dissertation-chairing relationships from the perspective of dissertation chairs. Using hermeneutic phenomenology, we interviewed counselor educators (N = 15) to identify how they experienced dissertation-chairing relationship dynamics with doctoral students. Counselor educators experienced relationships characterized by expansive connections, growth in student autonomy, authenticity, safety and trust, and adaptation to student needs. They viewed chairing relationships as fluid and non-compartmentalized, which cultivated mutual learning and existential fulfillment. Our findings provide counselor educators with examples of how empathy and encouragement may help doctoral students overcome insecurities and how authentic and honest conversations may help doctoral students overcome roadblocks. Counselor education programs can apply these findings by building structures to help facilitate safe and trusting relationships between doctoral students and counselor educators. In the current field of doctoral education, there is a range of possible approaches presented to doctoral candidates. The Thesis by Publication (TBP) is an option increasingly offered by universities ...around the world and adopted by candidates in diverse fields. As the approach gains in popularity in response to the demands of modern academia, there is a need to better understand the limitations and possibilities associated with completing a TBP. This paper reports on a survey of 246 recently conferred doctoral candidates from Australian universities, who shared their personal experiences of successfully completing a TBP, with particular focus on the challenges and benefits. The challenges of ensuring thesis cohesion, time pressures, managing the publishing journey, and issues with supervisory and/or university support emerged as notable recurring themes. Positives included efficiency, accessibility and dissemination of findings, feedback, skills for research, career and reputation, emotion and motivation, and ease of examination. These findings have associated implications for candidates seeking to make informed choices about the approach that best suits their needs. They can also inform supervisors desirous of supporting students to harness the benefits and overcome the challenges of the TBP, and support institutions in the provision of informed and responsive guidelines and training opportunities for TBP.
Researchers have shown interest in using software in scientific investigations, expanding literature review strategies in the organization, collection, analysis, and data triangulation. These aspects ...revealed possibilities for discussions related to digital content curation in Computer-Assisted Qualitative Data Analysis Software (CAQDAS). The choice and organization of qualitative data in scientific research are affected by this complexity of information, which involves planning, contextualization, and ethical dilemmas of sharing, among other aspects that permeate the investigations. Thus, this study aims to contribute to the reflection and analysis of models of digital content curation that can be used in CAQDAS. A qualitative descriptive methodology was used to achieve this goal, made possible by a critical literature review of scientific works about digital content curation. It was based on searches in two academic databases (Scientific Electronic Library Online – SciELO – and Scopus) and two gray literature databases. As a result, few digital content curation models with similar stages are employed in different contexts, and that some authors are interested in reflecting on such models. It was also found that the digital content curation models can be redefined and explored based on specific guidelines that consider the context of the organization of qualitative data in CAQDAS.
É fundamental mapear o conhecimento já produzido cientificamente para apresentar aspectos significativos à produção de novos trabalhos. Nesse sentido, para contribuir com o campo da educação e da ...informática educativa, objetiva-se apontar os enfoques científicos entre a união da metacognição e do pensamento computacional na utilização da robótica através de um mapeamento sistemático. À vista disso, procede-se a uma abordagem quali-quantitativa, exploratória, de caráter bibliográfico, que se inserem num âmbito de estado do conhecimento. Para a organização das informações, utilizou-se de uma string robusta que agrega: "pensamento computacional, metacognição"; e "robótica, metacognição". Disso, buscou-se teses, dissertações e artigos em Programas de Educação e da Ciência da Computação e, como resultado da triagem, filtrou-se uma dissertação, para fazer a interlocução com as questões deste artigo, evidenciando-se enfoques norteadores para pesquisas futuras. Conclui-se que há carência de pesquisas nessa esfera e, o que se torna motivador para novas produções que envolvam, principalmente, os pensamentos metacognitivo e computacional, "na utilização da robótica", e que podem estar voltados a um âmbito de "controle pleno da aprendizagem". Além disso, o artigo possibilita uma visão direcionada ao conhecimento já elaborado sobre a string de busca e aponta diferentes enfoques para produções científicas futuras.
