Jonayd-nameh is one of the long folk tales that was written in imitation of Hamzeh-nameh and as a prolgue to Abu Moslem-nameh. There are only two copies of this work: one in Turkish and the other in ...Persian; The Persian manuscript of which belongs to the end of the Qajar rule, which was edited by Hossein Ismaili and published at the beginning of the book of Abu Moslim-nameh. Although Jonayd-nameh is one of the religious-love fiction of popular literature, the important and noteworthy point about it is that its structure and language are close to Shahnameh narrative scrolls. In such a way that among the group of long Persian folk tales such as Darab-nameh, Samak Ayyar, Eskandar-nameh, Hamzeh-nameh, Abu Moslem-nameh, etc., this story is the most similar to Shah-nameh scrolls. In this article, using the descriptive-analytical method, the author has tried to analyze the influence of Jonayd-nameh from the Shahnameh scrolls ,from the perspective of language structure (with emphasis on formal sentences), story motifs, story models, establishing a kinship relationship for the characters of the story, and modeling of The stories of the Shahnameh and create new stories (in the manner of scrolls) .

Sarah Kirschs Activities as an Author of Children’s LiteratureThis contribution will highlight three works of children’s literature written by Sarah Kirsch (1935-2013) at the beginning of her poetic career. On the one hand, the aim is to point out these productions, which are often considered to be of secondary importance, and on the other hand to reveal the specific literary techniques of Sarah Kirsch, which are already at work in these early pieces. First, an example of children’s literature commissioned by the GDR literary authorities (Zwischen Herbst und Winter) and strongly influenced by the guidelines of socialist realism will be examined, followed by a scientifically resonant rewriting of Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland (Caroline im Wassertropfen). The final part of this contribution will identify the techniques of simplification and trivialisation of popular literary material that Sarah Kirsch makes extensive use of, both in her productions for children and in her poetic work.

The reflection about research on Slavic folklore must be accompanied by a careful reminder that in the 19th century many people showed general interest in it and carried out field studies: these were ...amateurs, travellers, journalists and professional gatherers, i.e. ethnologists, and in the 20th century – folklorists (who continued the earlier work following accepted scientific curricula). The close linguistic affinity of the Slavs, similarity of political situations and social structures of folklore depositaries throughout history facilitated and developed comparative research on various folklore genres (tales, songs, legends, proverbs, comic stories). In the 19th century, Slovak songs were distinguished by Oskar Kolberg. Conversely, a concrete example of pioneering academic achievements in folk tale studies in Slovakia includes the tales collected by Pavol Dobšinský and Samuel Czambel, and later (in the first half of the 20th century) by Frank Wollman and his followers; and after World War II – by Viera Gašpariková. Many integrative, interethnic and comparative research initiatives have been directly linked to the tales and resulted in printing valuable collections of texts edited by folklorists from Poland and Slovakia e.g. Śpiewająca lipka. Bajki Słowian Zachodnich (The Singing Linden Tree. The Tales of the West Slavs), Zbójnicki dar. Polskie i słowackie opowiadania tatrzańskie (The Robber’s Gift. Polish and Slovak Stories about the Tatras), Słoneczny koń. Bajki słowackie (The Sunny Horse. Slovak Tales), Skarb w garncu. Humor ludowy Słowian Zachodnich (The Treasure in the Pot. Folk Humour of the West Slavs), Bajki słowackie (Slovak Tales by P. Dobšinský). According to the author of the article, Polish and Slovak work in the field of tales stands out among the research on folklore genealogy of the Slavs. Therefore, she focuses on the anthologies that promote and popularize Slovak tales in Poland.
This article contains the basic structural features of a same-named Ph.D. research thesis. The main tasks of the research are to identify three focal fields with mythological elements, whether they ...are phenomena, objects, people, or creatures that some believe and others doubt exist. These focal fields are found in various collections of folk stories, and contemporary literary texts as well as in interviews with storytellers. However, the focus of this article is primarily on the introductory story and on providing the background of the general idea. The goal is to acquaint the readers with the background that explains the origin of the mentioned stories among the people. It talks about death, man’s natural fear of it, and the world of the paranormal, religious, and mythological, which combined create inexplicable phenomena that contradict the rational reasoning of man. One of the hypotheses of the research itself is to understand why this phenomenon is still present in the human community and what benefits it brings. Furthermore, the methodology used in the research includes a comparison and contrast of information between folk stories and contemporary literary works. In addition, the most important research method used is the interview technique with the aforementioned storytellers with strategically selected persons who are assumed to possess quality information.
