1. BackgroundThe conference is a continuation of the preceding 16th conferences that have been held in the name of the Asian International Conference on Fluid Machinery (AICFM). It has developed from ...the fourth conference (1993) as an International Conference though the start was held in two countries of Japan and China. After that the conference was held in Seoul (1997), Johar Baru (2000), Fukuoka (2003), Yichang (2005), Jeju (2007), Kualalumpur (2009), Chennai (2011), and Yogyakarta (2013), Tokyo (2015), Zhenjiang (2017), Busan (2019) and Yokohama (2021). The Asian Fluid Machinery Committee (AFMC) was established during the 9th AICFM 2007 held in Jeju, Korea.The conference is organized by AFMC and CSET. The Vth International Uralo-Indo-European Conference took place in Narva (Estonia) on October 14th and 15th, 2022, with this year's main topic being Finno-Ugric-Ukrainian language contacts. The first ...day was dedicated to bringing Ukrainian language and culture closer to Estonian culture and language. Not only the historical and ecclesiastical-religious similarities and connections were vividly presented, but also the current topic of the use of Ukrainian in everyday life. Using the example of the Sunday school of the Ukrainian Catholic community, Evelin Küün convincingly demonstrated in her lecture how the use of Ukrainian in another country is maintained and preserved and thereby creates a bridge between the old and new homeland of Ukrainians living in Estonia can be. Based on the work Language and National Mentality by Orest Tkačenko, Anna Biljak and Snižana Fedorovič showed the close connection between the two aspects, as it is also lived today. In her lecture, Heinike Heinsoo added the aspect of language endangerment, which occurs particularly in less widespread languages, such as Ukrainian, but also Estonian and other languages of the Finno-Ugric language family. Nevertheless, languages continue to develop, which Oleg Sima demonstrated using the transformation of the Ukrainian language in the medical field over the past eight years. As Anu Nurk explained, the challenge arises to take new everyday vocabulary into account when creating a Ukrainian-Estonian dictionary.
The last days of June this year were spent in a solemn scientific atmosphere on the premises of the Prešov University in Prešov. 2021 8th International Conference on Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS 2021) and 2021 11th International Conference on Chemistry and Chemical Process (ICCCP 2021) was held online during ...February 25-27, 2021, the conferences were great success. Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, this year’s conference, which was supposed to be held in Tokyo University of Science, Tokyo, Japan, was organized as a virtual conference, using of Zoom platform. It was a fully synchronized online conference that had live Q&A, participants jointly listened to presentations, and attended other live events associated with the conference. The dates of the virtual conference remained unchanged to the initially proposed dates, which were on February 25-27, 2021. The conference program was organized in 4 sessions, in which 3 plenary and 28 specialized reports were presented. The scientists from the China, Indonesia, Thailand and others, took part in the scientific forum. Each speech lasted for 40 minutes, including 5 minutes for Q&A. and for other sessions, there was 15 minutes for each presentation, including 2 minutes for Q&A. The interaction session was made the real experience to the participants and they had good exposure with the foreign university students and delegates.
