We have developed an innovation model through which the benefits of the transformation of social needs into each other can be exploited. The model manages the planning and implementation processes of ...innovation in a unified system, approximately in parallel. Responsible innovation, as we have named our approach, minimizes the “development slack,” increasing the effectiveness of financial support for innovation. Reviewing the concept of the Japanese Society 5.0 initiative, we came to the conclusion that our model would always have been tailored to the innovation needs of Society 5.0. At the same time, the Society 5.0 culture would be the most favorable medium for the completion and spread of our model. Responsible innovation is based on transformative research, and the "soul" of its implementation is modularization. This requires appropriate standards, audit and control support. Thanks to technological development and based on the opportunities inherent in responsible innovation, virtual economic zones, which provide a regulatory and organizational framework for mdular enterpris, have now become feasible and create. These can play an important role in making financial support for the recovery from the COVID-19 crisis effective.
Corporate universities are a growing phenomenon in present-day Spanish society. Corporations increasingly depend on knowledge and, as an alternative to the gaps identified in traditional education, they are creating and strengthening these institutions in order to endow themselves with a type of training that is consistent with their needs, objectives and strategies. This article presents the main results of a study whose aim was to forecast the future role of corporate universities in Spain, a little-studied reality despite its increasing importance. The study objectives were to identify certain aspects of corporate universities future evolution (their role in Spanish society, their organisational changes and the challenges posed by ICTs) and to perform a prospective analysis of their relationships with traditional universities (comparative strengths and weaknesses, and future means of collaboration). The research technique used was the Delphi method, applied to a panel of experts formed by the heads of Spanish corporate universities. Besides collecting data on the above-mentioned study objectives, the results confirmed the important role that corporate universities would play in training and knowledge management within the framework of Spanish higher education, even though the participating specialists believed that they would become a complement rather than a direct competitor to traditional universities.

This paper tries to present the existent relation between knowledge society and knowledge based economy. We will identify the main pillars of knowledge society and present their importance for the ...development of knowledge societies. Further, we will present two perspectives over knowledge societies, respectively science and learning perspectives, that directly affects knowledge based economies. At the end, we will conclude by identifying some important questions that must be answered regarding this new social paradigm.

Once again, the doctoral consortium track plays a central role in TEEM Conference. This track exists since the first edition on the conference in 2013 and still looks for Ph.D. candidates present the ...advances of their theses and do networking with other peers and more experienced researchers. This track was born linked to the Ph.D. Programme on Education in the Knowledge Society of the University of Salamanca (Spain), but we are happy to receive exciting proposals from another Ph.D. Programmes around the world, enriching the debates and the networking.
The accelerated development experimented in the last years by the information
and communication technologies (IcT), has generated transformation
fundamental processes in human relations, economy, ...culture, politics and
even customs. The effect of these changes on a determined society depends
on the particular conditions of its structure and evolution in time. This article
analyzes the concepts that respond to two different thinking traditions:
information society and knowledge society. They address current central
features that define them, analyzing the originated transformations and the
way in which its characteristics have been unified under a single term.

While scientific challenges raise relevant debates about the ethics of science, the scientific ethos, shattered by post-Mertonian studies, has received neither due attention nor further ...conceptualizations in view of the transition to knowledge society. On the contrary, in our investigation of Italian women scientists, it appears to have survived as a reference for scientists, even if the context has changed. Indeed, the ethos of scientists is no longer conceivable as exclusive, but is instead seen as open and dynamic in interaction with other symbolic references. Therefore, instead of scientific ethos, it is preferable to speak of scientific habit, including the individual symbolic universe and the social practices linked to the scientific role. In so doing, other habits come into focus and interact. In particular, we investigated the interaction between the scientific habit and the gender habit. We argue for a conflict between two such habits and for the existence of a symbolic violence suffered by women scientists. Lastly, a new dimension of the scientific ethos is defined which is not included in the Mertonian definition: a scientific responsibility among scientists in society. Such a picture could shape a new perspective of re-gendering science in society from the standpoint of women’s experience as scientists in the knowledge society.
This study describes an approach to learning and teaching that is structured as a project-based context-driven inquiry. The approach is positioned at the interface between knowledge-generation and ...use, and grounded in a generic notion of responsibility for the future of bodily life. The intention is to move the debate beyond the exhausted language of rigid oppositions between the academic and vocational, the universal and contextual. The purpose is to identify and nurture a personal portfolio of competencies responding to the contemporary material condition of humanity. It is expressed in terms of the student's learning power, a manifold of new assessment criteria and methodological steps constitutive of what a student could achieve having progressed through a given course. This is an approach in which competencies are outcomes supported rather than led by subject knowledge. The course structure combines traditional instruction with innovative project and assessment components and also provides an opportunity for the student to get acquainted with an employment niche. The practical applications of this approach at university and secondary-school levels have led to encouraging results for both staff and learners. (Zusammenfassung vom Verlag übernommen).
Goal of this paper is to notify of the research which was focused on demands in the area of knowledge potential development of firms. Knowledge as a part of companies' and the whole society ...intangible assets have been getting fundamental importance during last years as they have been perceived to be important source of the competitive advantages. The main interest is focused on "people oriented knowledge management" in this paper. Possibilities for development were explored in methods and practices of strategic human resource management. There was revealed what kind of procedures, activities and processes are being perceived as important and useful to develop. The respondents assigned Teams, Cooperation, Activity, Culture and Strategy as the domains being the most important for knowledge potential development in the future. Next data were acquired by comparing the evaluation of the present situation and the future needs.
