La masa pélvica es un proceso frecuente en mujeres cuyas edades están comprendidas entre los 10 a 70 años. La mayoría, en sus inicios no se acompañan de síntomas, por lo que es el médico, a través de ...la sospecha el que tiene que ordenar los exámenes necesarios para la detección precoz y oportuna de la misma ha sabiendas de que confundido entre una masa pélvica puede estarse gestando un cáncer de ovario en estado incipiente. Establecida la masa los procedimientos mas utilizados para el estudio y diagnóstico de la misma son la ecografía simple y el eco doppler, la Tomografía abdominal y como marcadores el ca 125. La cirugía es el método tanto para el diagnóstico definitivo como para el tratamiento, haciendo hincapié en la importancia de la congelación para la resolución in situ del problema. Se analizan en el presente estudio 15 casos evaluados y tratados en el Servicio de Ginecología del Instituto Oncológico Nacional desde julio a diciembre del año 2004 y cuyas edades oscilan entre los 16 y 66 años con promedio 41 años. Los resultados fueron: 5 casos de endometriomas, 3 adeno-carcinomas de ovario, 3 patologías no ginecológicas y 4 patologías ginecológicas no tumorales. Se analizan además la relación con la imagenología, el ca 125, y los hallazgos patológicos definitivos.
Sebelum UUD 1945 diamandemen, GBHN merupakan acuan pembangunan nasional berkala yang ditetapkan MPR selaku Lembaga Tertinggi Negara yang kemudian eksistensinya berakhir setelah amandemen dilakukan. ...Di tengah kendala visi pembangunan, wacana amandemen kelima untuk mengakomodir Haluan Negara melalui PPHN kian menyeruak. Wacana itu memunculkan dua topik analisa ihwal pengaturan Haluan Negara dari masa ke masa, dan implikasinya dalam sistem ketatanegaraan Indonesia pascareformasi. Kajian ini menggunakan metode penelitian hukum normatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data kepustakaan. Penelitian ini berkesimpulan bahwa dalam kurun 40 tahun keberlakuan UUD 1945 lama (1959-1999), GBHN memiliki karakter berbeda pada dua rezim yang pernah berkuasa. Demokrasi Terpimpin berorientasi pada pembangunan ideologis guna membentuk karakter negara-bangsa, sedangkan Orde Baru berorientasi pada pembangunan fisik melalui penanaman modal asing. Namun kedua rezim sama-sama menyelenggarakan kekuasaan otoriter untuk menjamin terselenggaranya visi Haluan Negara. Sementara reformasi memodifikasi konsep Haluan Negara melalui Sistem Perencanaan Pembangunan Nasional (SPPN) dan Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Panjang Nasional (RPJPN) yang nomenklaturnya ditempatkan dalam undang-undang dan dijalankan dengan prinsip otonomi daerah. Hal ini mengakibatkan visi pembangunan lebih terstruktur dan sistematis dengan melibatkan seluruh pemangku jabatan di tingkat pusat hingga daerah. Sedangkan wacana amandemen kelima untuk mengakomodir PPHN berpotensi disruptif karena dilakukan di tengah pemerintahan yang bercorak executive heavy.
Fermentation improves the shelf life, texture, taste and aroma, nutritional value and digestibility and also lowers the content of antinutrients of fermented meals. This study investigated the effect ...of different fermenting agents on the quality of masa. The rice grains were sorted, cleaned, washed and soaked, wet milled and fermented separately with baker’s yeast, lactic acid culture (yogourmet) and tsamiyan gaye (citric acid) respectively. The final batter was fried and package for analysis. The different fermenting agent had significant (p<0.05) effect on all parameters measured. Masa fermented with lactic acid bacteria culture (LAB) had the highest value of 9.25% 0.83%, 1.01% and 18.51% for protein, crude fibre ash and fat content respectively while yeast fermented masa had higher respective value of 21.46% and 50.12% for moisture and carbohydrate content. The pH of masa sample is within the r range of 3.76-5.57 and titritable acidity of 0.05-0.17. The sensory evaluation was carried out to assess the acceptability of the masa samples. However, all masa samples were generally accepted but baker’s yeast fermented masa had higher means scores for overall acceptability (7.40). Tsamiyan gaye (citric acid) and LAB culture can be used as an alternative to baker’s yeast for preparation of masa.
The effect of substituting maize (
) flour with Bambara groundnut flour in tortillas production was investigated. Thermal, antioxidant, physicochemical properties, degree of puffing and rollability ...of flour and tortillas were determined. Tortillas were produced from maize and Bambara Groundnut (BGN) flours at the ratio of 100:0, 95:5, 90:10, 85:15 and 80:20, respectively. Compositing maize with BGN flour showed an improvement on the proximate composition of maize flour and tortillas; however, carbohydrate content of tortillas significantly decreased with the addition of BGN in blends from 77.07 to 55.22. The temperatures of gelatinisation such as onset temperature (T
) of flour blends increased from 57.50 to 71.95 °C, peak temperature (T
) from 74.94 to 76.74 °C and the end temperature (T
) from 81.72 to 91.58 °C. Composite flours and tortillas had higher values of polyphenolic compounds and antioxidant activities than the control sample. Textural properties of control tortillas were higher than that of composite tortillas. Increase in the levels of BGN flour improved the weight and thickness of tortillas. However, diameter and spread ratio decreased. Degree of puffing and rollability of tortillas increased with the incorporation levels of BGN flour.
Penelitian survei ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kondisi kompetensi guru berdasarkan masa kerja. Sebanyak 56 guru PJOK SD (42 laki-laki dan 12 perempuan) menjadi subjek pengambilan data yang ...memanfaatkan Instrumen Pengukuran Kadar Keguruan Guru PJOK berbasis web (https://risetpjokindonesia.com). Empat kompetensi diukur yaitu pedagogik, kepribadian, sosial, dan profesional berdasarkan standar nasional pendidikan. Masa kerja diukur berdasarkan lamanya guru mengajar dalam hitungan semester. Pengukuran kompetensi masuk dalam kegiatan pengembangan keprofesionalan guru sehingga guru dapat didampingi saat mengisi instrumen. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif, persentase, dan korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi sosial berkorelasi positif dengan masa kerja. Membuktikan bahwa kompetensi sosial berkembang dengan seiring berjalannya waktu. Kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional berada pada kategori biasa dan baik. Sedangkan kompetensi kepribadian guru dalam kategori hebat. Pembahasan berfokus pada pemanfaatan data kompetensi guru untuk keperluan peningkatan keprofesionalan guru menuju reflective teacher. Selain itu, dibahas juga tentang komunitas guru menjadi wahana yang strategis dalam peningkatan keprofesionalan guru.

The objective of this study was to examine the impact of FA fortification of dietary staples on the proportion of the population consuming below the Estimated Average Requirement (EAR) for folate or above the Tolerable Upper Intake Level (UL) for FA.
We measured FA and folate content in dietary staples (bakery bread and tortillas) using microbial assays and MS, and we recalculated FA intake from 24-h recall dietary intake data collected in the 2012 Mexican National Health and Nutrition Survey (Encuesta Nacional de Salud y Nutrición) utilizing estimates from our food measurements, using nutrient concentrations from tortillas to approximate nutrient content of other corn masa–derived foods. The revised FA intake estimates were used to examine population-level intake of FA and dietary folate equivalent (DFE) accounting for geographic differences in FA content with statistical models.
FA content in dietary staples was variable, whereas use of FA-fortified flour in corn masa tortillas increased with population size in place of residence. Accounting for dietary staples’ FA fortification increased population estimates for FA and DFE intake, resulting in a lower proportion with intake below the EAR and a higher proportion with intake above the UL. Despite accounting for FA-fortified staple foods, 9–33% of women of childbearing age still have intake below the EAR, whereas up to 12% of younger children have intake above the UL.
Unregulated FA fortification of dietary staples leads to unpredictable total folate intake without adequately impacting the intended target. Our findings suggest that monitoring, evaluation, and enforcement of mandatory fortification policies are needed. Without these, alternate strategies may be needed in order to reach women of childbearing age while avoiding overexposing children.

This important to discuss in order to ensure that an educator is more professional in carrying out their duties and still shows a positive character. The purpose of this study was to determine the professional competence and characteristics of PAI teachers during the pandemic. This research method uses descriptive qualitative. In practice, a simple analysis is obtained for quantitative data. Participant involved as many 10 elementary level teachers in Tasikmalaya Regency. The results showed that the character competency indicator was still low so that it affected the profession teachers. The recommendations of the results of this study are that character and professional teachers are agents of change in facing life’s challenges in the future.
Abstrak
Kebijakan pemerintah dalam bidang pendidikan pada masa pandemik Covid 19,diantaranya memberhentikan jam tatap muka diganti dengan proses pembelajaran daring, menuntut seorang pendidik untuk lebih profesional dalam pekerjaannya . Hal ini penting untuk dibahas agar memastikan seorang pendidik lebih profesional dalam menjalankan tugas dan tetap menunjukkan karakter positifnya. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kompetensi profesional dan karakteristik guru pada masa pandemik. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif. Pada praktiknya diperoleh data-data yang bersifat kuantitatif dilakukan analisis sederhana. Partisipan yang terlibat sebanyak 10 orang guru tingkat dasar yang ada di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan indikator kompetensi karakter yang masih rendah, sehingga berpengaruh terhadap profesionalitas guru. Rekomendasi hasil penelitian ini adalah guru berkarakter dan profesional merupakan agen perubahan dalam menghadapi tantangan kehidupan di masa yang akan datang.
Objetivos. Determinar la asociación entre obesidad y caries dental en escolares de 12 años de Montevideo de acuerdo con variables socioeconómicas y demográficas. Métodos. Estudio transversal, ...analítico, de base poblacional en una muestra representativa de 1.154 escolares de Montevideo. Se seleccionaron aleatoriamente 44 escuelas, 32 públicas y 12 privadas. Se aplicaron dos cuestionarios estructurados. El examen clínico fue realizado por encuestadoras calibradas, registrando ICDAS para caries e IMC para obesidad. Se hizo un análisis descriptivo de las variables y la asociación entre prevalencia/extensión de caries y los percentiles de masa corporal empleando gráficos de dispersión y coeficientes de correlación. Se cuantificó la asociación mediante modelos de regresión. Resultados. 680 niños presentaron normopeso, 26 emaciación y 430 sobrepeso. El estudio no mostró una diferencia significativa en prevalencia de caries en ninguna de las categorías del IMC (emaciación 97,1%; normopeso 92,1%; sobrepeso 91,2%). La prevalencia de caries fue 91,9%, siendo mayor en escolares de NSE bajo; la media en extensión 8,8. El nivel de severidad se distribuyó de la siguiente manera: sanos 9,0%, leve 38,3%, moderado 25,6% y severo 27,1%. Se encontró asociación entre severidad de caries y emaciación (OR=1,99), y cuando las madres poseían ≤8 años de educación formal (OR=1,90). De las variables comportamentales la asociación más fuerte fue entre consumo de alimentos azucarados y severidad de caries (OR=1,52) y entre cepillado ≥2 veces al día con menor prevalencia de caries (OR=1,8). Conclusiones. No se encontró asociación entre sobrepeso/obesidad y caries dental en la población estudiada.
