Avtorica se v članku ukvarja z ameriškimi potniškimi in migracijskimi zakoni iz let 1893, 1903 in 1907, katerih namen je bil upravljanje priseljevanja v ZDA. Prizadevanja za omejevanje priseljevanja ...predstavlja na podlagi kriterijev o koristnosti oziroma potencialni nevarnosti priseljencev. Pokaže, da podatki, navedeni na seznamih ladijskih potnikov, niso bili vedno verodostojni, želja tako izseljencev kot ladijskih družb po vstopu v ZDA je bila namreč močnejša od strahu pred zavrnitvijo.
On the basis of floristic surveys, examination of herbarium specimens and review of literature, notes on the taxonomy, morphology, and ecological features are given of Oxybasis chenopodioides and ...morphologically fairly similar Oxybasis rubra. Their distributions in Italy according to Provinces are discussed and mapped.
Na podlagi florističnih raziskav, proučevanj herbarijskih primerkov in pregleda literature smo podali opombe k taksonomiji, morfologiji in ekologiji vrste Oxybasis chenopodioides in morfološko zelo podobne Oxybasis rubra. Prikazali in obravnavali smo njihovo razširjenost v provincah Italije.

-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). THC is a partial agonist at both cannabinoid receptors, but its psychotomimetic effect is produced primarily via activation of the CB
receptor, which is strongly expressed in the central nervous system, with the noteworthy exception of the brain stem. Although acute cognitive and other effects of THC are well known, the risk of irreversible neuropsychological effects of THC needs further research to elucidate the association. Unlike THC, phytocannabinoid cannabidiol (CBD) does not appear to have psychotomimetic effects but may interact with some of the effects of THC if taken concomitantly. CBD administered orally has recently undergone well-controlled clinical trials to assess its safety in the treatment of paediatric epilepsy syndromes. Their findings point to increased transaminase levels as a safety issue that calls for postmarketing surveillance for liver toxicity. The aim of this review is to summarise what is known about acute and chronic toxicological effects of both compounds and address the gaps in knowledge about the safety of exogenous cannabinoids that are still open.

This article deals with constructive theoretical efforts to resolve dilemmas, that are present in the debates about an Unconditional Basic Income (UBI) and the need to ecological rationalization of ...economic systems. Putting together the arguments, which are present in both debates, the article supports the ecosocial frame for UBI, that – combined with other political ecology’s instruments – is the one of the most promising perspectives of social transition towards emancipatory and sustainable direction. Sketched perspective of social change seems to be very profound and ambitious, but it simultaneously helps to adress the main obstacles to UBI’s implementation and to the serious consideration of ecological aspect in programming the social development.
