A software module has been developed that forms the basis of a virtual laboratory workshop and consists of two computer applications that use the methods of intelligent analysis of biomedical data ...for an example of the possibility of predicting a disease based on the proposed symptoms of a patient and determining the likelihood of cardiovascular disease. The developed virtual laboratory practice can be used in teaching the block of biomedical disciplines and includes a list of laboratory works that help to acquire practical skills in bioanalytical work and programming skills in Python.

Spell checkers are created to control and correct mistakes in a user document. They are based on the comparison of every word against the spelling dictionary and on the use of correct spelling ...detection algorithms. The article dwells on technologies of creating spell checker, as well as methods of teaching this technology. Spell checker by Peter Norvig has been studied. Modifications for this program necessary to process Ukrainian texts have been defined. Approach to implementation of language model, that is creating spelling dictionary, based on the Ukrainian Brown Corpus has been suggested. Peculiarities of designing a regular expression for distinguishing words in Ukrainian text have been defined. Texts containing Ukrainian subtitles, created within the volunteer translation project «To Be Announced», have been used as a means of test material for the spell checker. The program that processes this text material in order to check spelling has been described and the obtained results have been analysed. The obtained resulted were concluded to be correct, which encourages further research.

The author presents a brief overview of the measures in the scope of distortions and methods of their presentation. It is also shown how the users can generate the maps, presenting a distortion by themselves. It is much easier to perform this type of visualization with the help of “matplotlib library”, basically everyone can compile such a map.

One of postulates of the Industry 4.0 paradigm infers strengthening IT/industrial branches ties, more intensive digitization of business to improve its quality. One of attributes of the industrial ...revolution is the resulted rise in the number of such smart businesses. E.g., high performance computing in design phase permits input data processing for the creation of models of objects and processes in more limited time periods. Up-to-date software is capable to create digital analogs of real objects and processes using input data specified by a user, and simulate various environmental effects. One of such software instruments is the open source OpenFOAM software, successfully applied by engineers around the world for high performance computing and numerical simulation in the continuum mechanics (CM) field. Its main drawback (lack of the user's interface) is partially rectified by different groups of designers who have created their original interface versions. The author of the paper proposes his own approach for the problem solution given in 1. The problem of the graphical user interface (GUI) lack is also settled, since the original OpenFOAM software code is supplemented with new modules to provide users the access to new computing options, and this requires the extension of the interface original code. The paper is focused on components implemented in the interface that ensure the modification of mesh models to account for the great number of external factors and to finally get a more accurate numerical model.
