Tourism based games are becoming a popular choice in different sections in tourism, from marketing and advertisement to accommodation, it is helping the industry to entertain tourists while educating ...them and bring them new experiences. These experiences are more rewarding, creating a higher level of satisfaction while increasing loyalty to the destination. The aim of this study is first to discuss the role of serious games and gamification in tourism in brief and second to analyze two location-based games and their relation to tourism, how they impact the tourists, and what are the impacts they have on their targeted destinations. In this paper, both theory and field study are helping the authors to analyze the challenges these games are faced, the solutions they need, and the benefits they bring to the industry.

Prezentul articol se constituie într-o încercare de rediscutare a câtorva piese antropomorfe gumelniţene descoperite în tell-ul de la Vidra, aflate în colecţia Muzeului Municipiului Bucureşti. Cele ...mai multe dintre piesele discutate în acest articol au fost considerate de către Dinu V. Rosetti ca aparţinând fazei Gumelniţa B1. Contextul clar al descoperirilor nu este cunoscut. Autorii propun pentru studiul acestei colecţii o metodă recentă de investigaţie ştiinţifică, şi anume examinarea tomografică. Tomograful cu raze X folosit la analiza obiectelor descrise în această lucrare a fost special construit pentru studii arheologice, fiind unic în România. Tomografia cu raze X s-a dovedit a fi o metodă de diagnostic foarte utilă în cercetările arheologice şi de patrimoniu cultural, această metodă imagistică prezentând o serie de avantaje.
The present paper reopens the discussion over several antropomorphic figurines found during the excavations on the Vidra tell. The figurines are part of the collection of the Bucharest City Museum (MMB). The majority of them were assigned by the author of the excavations, D. V. Rosetti, to the B1 phase of the Gumelnitsa culture. The exact archaeological context of the figurines is unknown. The authors used for the study of this lot a relatively recent method of investigation – the X-ray tomography. The X-ray equipment was specifically built for applications in archaeology and is unique in Romania. The X-ray tomography proved to be a very useful tool in archaeological research and cultural heritage studies, presenting a series of advantages.

The late Latène hoard from Bucharest-Herăstrău (first half of the 1st century B. C.) comprises imported pieces from the Hellenistic-Roman centres (surely the tetradrachmas from Thasos, probably the ...mastos silver-cup and hypothetically the lost bronze situla) together with silver pieces, which, at least under the manufacturing aspect, seem to be local products of artisans from Barbaricum. The question that is raised rises is whether the metallographic analyses might pay clues for determining the origin of the different pieces from the hoard. The hypothesis according to which the raw material that represented the basis for the metalwork pieces would have been procured by recycling several coins similar to those discovered in the same hoard, could not be entirely confirmed, but at the same time the analyses did not categorically infirm it. This initial alloy seems to be similar with the one in the coins. The X-Ray test could not certify, but could not invalidate either if the jewelry and cup’s silver-based alloy was obtained by recycling the coins.
Tezaurul de epocă târzie Latène (prima jumătate a secolului I a. Chr.) de la Bucureşti-Herăstrău reuneşte piese realizate în centre elenistice şi romane (cu certitudine tetradrahmele Thasiene, probabil cupa de argint de tip mastos şi situla de bronz astăzi pierdută) şi produse de argint care, cel puţin prin aspectul manufacturii lor, par a fi creaţii ale unor meşteri din Barbaricum. Se pune întrebarea în ce măsură analizele metalografice oferă indicii pentru determinarea originii diferitelor obiecte din tezaur. Ipoteza potrivit căriea materia primă folosită pentru realizarea podoabelor a fost procurată prin reciclarea mai multor monede asemănătoare celor descoperite în tezaur nu a putut fi pe de-a întregul confirmată, dar, totodată, analizele nu au putut-o infirma. Aliajul iniţial al podoabelor pare să fie similar celui conţinut de monede. Analizele prin fluorescenţă de raze X nu au putut certifica, dar nici nu au putut invalida dacă piesele de podoabă şi cupa de argint au fost realizate prin reciclarea monedelor.

A rescue excavation carried out on a future stretch of motor road in Communay, south of Lyon, in 1988, has uncovered the remains of structures of a habitat (post holes, pits...) from the end of the ...Bronze Age, the Early Iron Age (Hallstatt D3) and especially from the second Iron Age (Tène C). Shown in detailed stratigraphie and sedimentary context, the analysis of these structures and the quantitative analysis of the associated objects found (mainly pottery) provide a precious contribution to the knowledge of the Protohistory of the Rhône region, in particular for the Late Iron Age which is poorly represented in this region.
Une fouille d'urgence réalisée en 1988 à Communay, au sud de Lyon, à l'emplacement d'une section d'autoroute, a découvert des vestiges de structures d'habitat (trous de poteau, fosses...) de la fin de l'Age du bronze, du premier Age du fer (Hallstatt D3) et surtout du second Age du fer (Tène C). Présentées dans un contexte stratigraphique et sédimentaire détaillé, l'analyse des structures et celle quantifiée des mobiliers associés (essentiellement céramiques) apporte une précieuse contribution à la connaissance de la Protohistoire rhodanienne, en particulier pour le second Age du fer, mal représenté dans cette région.

Central este poziționată imaginea Maicii Domnului. În jurul ei sunt sfinții apostoli.
