This article explores multimediality and diversity in the poetry of Branko Čegec, the film Pulp Fiction by Quentin Tarantino, and the novel Soba za razbijanje by Tomislav Zajec. Their comparison is ...based on intermediality as the main feature of postmodernism, which provides a two-way or multi-way relationship between the analysed works, since each of them is already characterised by intermediality and citability. The main structural components are emphasised according to which the three works or multimedia texts, are intermedially similar, primarily through motifs and topics. The aim is to reveal Čegec’s intense intermedial sensitivity as an open dialogue of intermedial traces on both formal and stylistic, and subjective structures. A similar sensitivity to other media can be found in Tarantino’s film and Zajec’s novel. The article aims to determine the elements common to all three authors, that is, the three aspects of their emphasized intensity of thematic and presentational intermediality. Finally, the conception of their works will be placed in the context of postmodern creativity as a highly communicative intermedial state

Jagić u pismima svojoj obitelji i poznanicima iznosi porijeklo i opisuje tijek narudžbe, izradu i postav spomenika. Temeljem signature i podataka u prepisci razmatraju se dosadašnje dvije atribucije bronce hrvatskom kiparu Ivanu Rendiću i slovenskom kiparu Ivanu Zajcu.
Despite what the polls indicated before 9 April, Lourdes Flores Nano would be the weaker rival for Ollanta Humala in the second round. Not only because the UPP Union for Peru candidate Ollanta Humala ...Tasso could continue hammering with his confrontational discourse pitting the poor against the rich, but because arithmetically the results of the first round show that while the UN National Unity leader Lourdes Flores only has a majority in Lima, Humala has significant support in 18 of Peru's 25 regions. It is clear, says Romeo Grompone, that not all the votes that were cast for Alan Garcia in the first round (who has one of the most extensive pool of votes left) would go to Lourdes Flores. At least the rural votes and those of the most radical APRA American Popular Revolutionary Alliance supporters would likely go to Ollanta Humala in the second round. Something similar might happen with the votes that had been cast for Martha Chavez. The National Unity candidate will attract the pro-Fujimori voter who supports the privatization policy, but not a voter who wants change or a poor agricultural worker in a rural area. The reason for this is that if Garcia brings up the Madre Mia assassinations, Humala could remind the voters of the things that happened in El Fronton former penal colony and political prison. If APRA brings into the light the Fujimori connections of its opponent, Humala could recall the connection that Agustin Mantilla former APRA leader and Garcia confidante had with the Montesinos mafia. There can be no doubt that such reminders of the past would be troublesome for both of these candidates.
In that context, today's match with Charlton - traditionally poor finishers to a season, although the slim prospect of Uefa Cup qualification may enliven them - looks crucial. With David Pleat away ...fulfilling media duties, Alain Perrin will leave team selection to Velimir Zajec and Jordan, and the first game in which he will be in full control will come at Birmingham next week. By then, with Southampton, West Brom and Crystal Palace all facing testing away games - at Blackburn, Aston Villa and Everton respectively - Portsmouth could be seven points clear, and Perrin's job be all but done before he has started. Even were that to happen, though, the longer term remains puzzling. In the light of his comments about Brian Little and Gordon Strachan, Mandaric's insistence that Perrin was always his first choice strikes an odd note but, at least until he reached the UAE club Al- Ain, which sacked him in October after three months as coach, Perrin's record was exemplary.
