    This paper treats formal educational system as an economic production in itself and as a part of economic production of the state in the sense, that it produces human resources for labor market. The ... comparison between modern - industrial mode of production and postmodern - informational mode of production regarding formal education system is made. Formal educational system is at least one step behind tecnological changes that go on outside "the school." Sloveniaʹs formal education system right now applies a form of "neo-Fordistic" production, which is a last attempt to deny the urgency of necessary change. Nevertheless, the informational networks will change the aimand scope of formal education system, as well the methods and style of pedagogic work
