    Social Local Mobile is a simple way for tourists to obtain information about activities in their area. SoLoMo is a half- way between tecnological word-of-mouth and a marketing technique. The purpose ... of the study is to introduce tourism sector, which is the leader in e-commerce, as a leader of SoLoMo as well. The fact is that "e-tourism" transforms into "connected" or "digital tourism". The paper suggests ways for using Social Local Mobile as a marketing tool. In particular, it highlights the high importance of SoLoMo as opportunities and advatages in access and success to competitive market. Traders want to use SoLoMo to make themselves known to consumers. They can now pull this off, since everyone can now find exactly what they need, both close to home or when travelling by using the social networks (So), geo-location (Lo) and mobile device (Mo). The paper will point it out how the Slovenian travel industry uses SoLoMo and give suggestions for the future improvement.
