In this paper an approach for the real-time frequency control in the interconnected power systems is presented. The problem of the real-time control increased in a last years due to the new formed interconnections, caused by the political events in the former SFR Yugoslavia. For the analyze a mathematical model adopted for computer simulation and suitable software support is created. The model and the computer simulation are applied and tested on the existing interconnection, and the results are presented for real happened events.
