In a speech delivered at the 2019 AAP/ASCI/APSA Joint Meeting on Apr 5, 2019 in Chicago IL, Marr thanks the member and the executive leadership team who have been instrumental to the American Society for Clinical Investigation over the last year. Furthermore, she recommends that anyone who wants to understand the society, or the history of physician-scientists, should invest time in reading the ASCI Presidential Addresses published in JCI.
