    Provider: - Institution: - Data provided by Europeana Collections- The investigation in this dissertation was accomplished with a goal of solving practical problems arising in the field of vehicle maintenance, related to optimization of preventive maintenance intervals. The subject of investigation was the fleet of buses with the main purpose to examine whether it is possible to organize a maintenance system to meet two conflicting criteria: maximum of availability an d minimum of maintenance costs. In this dissertation was developed a model for optimization of periodicity of preventive maintenance activities based on both named criteria for the case of elements whose MTBFs obey to Weibull distribution law. The model is verified and confirmed in the real system of fleet maintenance - transportation company ATP Pancevo. Research results substrate to define strategies for increasing the effectiveness of the system maintenance. Since the developed model is applicable to the individual elements of the system, a special method was defined to apply the optimization model for the maintenance of complex systems, such as vehicles in general (the principle of block replacements). Evaluation of the fleet effectiveness was carried out on the basis of operational availability and maintenance costs, which were adopted as the main performance indicators of system maintenance.- Disertacija je nastala sa ciljem praktičnog rešavanja problema optimizacije intervala periodičnog održavanja, koji se pojavljuje u oblasti održavanja motornih vozila i tehničkih sistema uopšte. Predmet istraživanja bio je vozni park autobusa, a osnovni cilj da se ispita da li je moguće sistem održavanja organizovati tako da bi se zadovoljila dva protivrečna kriterijuma i maksimalna gotovost i minimalni troškovi održavanja. U disertaciji je razvijen model optimizacije preventivnih aktivnosti održavanja, koji se temelji na oba pomenuta kriterijuma za slučaj elemenata čija vremena otkaza se pokoravaju Weibull-ov om zakonu raspodele. Pomenuti model je proveren i potvrđen na realnom slučaju sistema održavanja voznog parka transportnog preduzeća ATP Pančevo. Rezultati istraživanja dali su podlogu za definisanje strategije za povišenje efektivnosti sistema održavanja. Budući da je razvijeni model primenjiv na pojedine elemente sistema, razvijen je i poseban metod kojim se model može primenjivati i na održavanje složenih sistema, kakva su vozila u celini, po principu blok zamena.
