The paper presents economic evaluation of the borehole heat exchanger and heat pumps as an alternative, nonpolluting solution for heating of modern buildings and well-insulated houses. The investment ...into borehole heat echanger and heat pump is much higher than for heating boiler rooms with fossil fuels, but the operating costs are very low. In our calculations, conventional hating systems were evaluated without any air-cooling system, which would raise the investment costs and electricity consumption essentially.
