    The aim of this study is to establish the link between the property taxes and real estate market in Kosovo and also find the correlation between the property taxes and real estate markets in Kosovo. ... Also the present study aims to establish the correlation between the decrease of property taxes and increase in activity in real estate markets. The study further aims to establish the link between the effective collection of property taxes and the real estate markets. Also the study aims to establish the positive correlation between the foregiveness of public debt in property taxes and real estate markets. The present study will use the quantitative study and descriptive statistics by interviewing 100 respondents randomly selected through stratified probability sampling. The present study also uses qualitative structured interviews with around 20 experts from the Ministry of Finance and Department of Property Taxes to shed light on the raised questions in the present study. The present study finds out that decrease in property taxes has a positive correlation with the increase of activity in real estate markets, however finds no correlation between the foregiveness of public debt with the increase of activity in real estate markets and real estate prices. Finally the present study has important implications for policy makers, real estate managers, and real estate developers in Kosovo to know how property tax policies can affect the increase in activity in real estate markets, which in turn increases the real estate prices in general.
