  • Thermodynamic properties of ▫$\alpha$▫-tocopherol in supercritical carbon dioxide

    Accurate data on volumetric properties are required for design, development and construction of supercritical fluid processes. The densities of ▫$\alpha$▫-tocopherol in supercritical carbon dioxide ... were measured with a vibrating tube densimeter at 35, 50 and 60 °C and in the pressure range from 10 to 40 MPa. The reliability of the technique has been verified in our previous works. Partial molar volumes, isothermal compress ibilities, isobaric thermal expansivities and internal pressures were calculated from obtained densities. The dependence of densities, partial molar volumes, isothermal compressibilities, isobaric thermal expansivities and internal pressures of ▫$\alpha$▫-tocopherol in supercritical carbon dioxide on composition, temperature and pressure is presented in this study.
