Cross saturation effects in electric machines under dynamic operating conditions

This work deals with the cross saturation effects in electric machines under dynamic operation conditions. The impact of cross saturation on closed loop controlled currents under dynamic operating ...conditions is demonstrate in the case of linear synchronous reluctance motor. The results presented show that the changing current in one motor axis can disturb the closed loop controlled current in the orthogonal motor axis. The current controller are unable to prevent the closed loop controlled current from being deteriorated if the cross saturation effects are not considered in the control design.
