Prispevek opisuje razvoj in zasnovo prototipnega rotirajočega magnetnega hladilnika. Osnovni princip delovanja predstavljenega magnetnega hladilnika temelji na vrtilnem gibanju aktivnih magnetnih ...regeneratorjev (AMR) z magneto-kaloričnim materialom ter na statičnem magnetnem polju, ki ga ustvarjajo permanentni magneti NdFeB. Po kratkem opisu osnov tehnologije magnetnega hlajenja je v prispevku predstavljen razvoj in analiza strukture za ustvarjanje magnetnega polja in osnovni princip delovanja prvega prototipnega magnetnega hladilnika razvitega na Fakulteti za strojništvo. V drugem delu prispevka pa je opisan razvoj in zasnova ter oblikovanje določenih ključnih elementov celotnega sistema magnetnega hladilnika.
