    The purpose of this research was to reach torque ripple minimization using a relatively inexpensive manufacturing method - shifting of the rotorćs permanent magnets and varying supply voltage. In the ... performed analyses, the differential evolution optimization method combined with FEM analysis was used to find the optimal shifting angles of the magnetic poles. Furthermore the procedure of varied supply voltage was simulated using the transient FE model, in order to study the feasibility of commutation torque ripple minimization at the optimized motor model.
