Osnovna zdravstvena dejavnost v regiji Koper v obdobju 1990-1999

Primary health care as it is determined by the principles of WHO declaration is gaining on importance. Purpose of my thesis is to contribute to lighten organization and use of health care services in ...primary health care. Goals of thesis are to show population coverage rate with providers of health care, structure of health services which were done in period of time 1990-1999 and trends in last decade. Data acquired with proper analysis of present state of affairs, from regular health statistics and Statistical Data Bank of Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia. For elaboration of data Microsoft Excel 2000 computer program was used. Results show that the lowest population coverage rate with health care providers is in area which is covered by Health Center Sežana in health care of children, schoolchildren andyouth, in area which is covered by Health Center Ilirska Bistrica in healthcare of women, in area which is covered by Health Center Piran in general practice activity and in area which is covered by Heath Center Koper in district nursing. In health care of children, schoolchildren and youth, general practice activity, dental care of children and youth and district nursing is growing the number of curative visits. According to guide-liners ofNational program of health care of Republic of Slovenia, where the allowing burden of deviate from slovenian average is 10 % from the population coverage rate with providers of health care, that we will base to search for causes of this unpleasant state of affairs and make adequate arrangements. It is necessary also to search for the reason of growing of curative visits to providers of health care in some health care area and the base of results intervene adequate strategy with the cause of change structure of health services which were done.
