    Single process additive manufacturing delivers fully functional 3D printed structures in a single 3D printer without the need for additional manufacturing processes. The 3D-printed parts can be ... scaled, customised, embedded, and combined into multifunctional structures without changing the manufacturing technology. Thermoplastic filament extrusion is a widely used 3D printing technology with multi-material capability and a wide range of commercial materials with functional properties such as electrical conductivity, piezoresistivity, piezoelectricity, magnetic permeability and more. The combination of these functional materials in a single process enables the production of functional sensors and actuators that can be designed and customised for the desired application.
