Strojni vid (machine vision) je v zadnjih letih postal sestavni del sodobnih proizvodnih okolij. Raznovrstnost aplikacij na različnih področjih omogoča večanje produktivnosti, nižanje stroškov in ...višjo kakovost proizvodov. V prispevku je predstavljen primer uporabe strojnega vida pri določanju ničelne točke obdelovanca na namiznem rezkalnem stroju LAKOS 150 G in sicer z uporabo nizkocenovne komercialne kamere. Delovanje razvitega sistema je ponazorjeno s praktičnim primerom, ki potrjuje učinkovitost implementiranega sistema pri dejanski uporabi na obdelovalnem stroju.
