The so called Slovene model of natural syntax is illustrated below with different structure types for verbalization of deontic and epistemic modality compared with other syntactic structures, used in ...Slovene and German texts for expressing complex cognitive entities like hypothetical statements and potentiality (the conditional). The markedness of grammatical parameters (microgrammatical context) by which each (morpho)syntactic variant is encircled in the observed text, is used as a marker of the relative "age" (stage of the innovation process) of the construction and it's naturalness (inrelation to the token - frequency) from the viewpoint of the language instinct of its user
