    In the thesis, we investigate the effect of additives on tribological and dynamic mechanical properties of the composite, whereas the basic material is polyamide 6 reinforced with 30 weight percent ... of short glass fibres. Two different sizes of expanded graphite particles are used as additives, as well as an additive with the commercial name Maxithene containing polydimethylsiloxane. The manufacture of composites by the extrusion process and production of test samples in order to investigate tribological and dynamic mechanical properties by the injection moulding process are presented in the first part of the study. These are followed by a description of the measurement of dynamic mechanical, frictional and wear properties. Based on the results of the measurements the findings on the effects of additives on mechanical and tribological properties of the manufactured composites are presented.
