Evridikine besede molka : Vergilijeva in Ovidijeva upodobitev Evridike? = Eurydice's words of silence : Virgil's and Ovid's portrayals of Eurydice

Primerjava med Vergilijevo interpretacijo mita o Orfeju in Evridiki ter Ovidijevo poznejšo interpretacijo istega mita pokaže, da ostaja Ovidijeva upodobitev Evridike glede na Vergilijevo ... nespremenjena. Evridika je tako kot Pigmalionova ženska zgolj neviden objekt, reprezentirajoč telo, ki ga Orfej, stoječ na strani mišljenja, potrebuje zato, da bi ga dopolnil in poustvaril s svojo umetniško imaginacijo in tako presegel lastno minljivost. Hkrati pa Evridika zaradi svoje mejne pozicije, skriva v sebi moč, ki se manifestira v različnih oblikah, tako po Vergilijevem kontradiktornem pripovedovalcu Proteju kot tudi z Ovidijevimi mitoloskimi aluzijami.
