Izboljšava proizvodnih procesov z modeliranjem in simulacijo - inženirski pristop [Elektronski vir] = Improving production processes by modeling and simulation - an engineering approach

Modeling and simulations for analysis and optimization purposes of production processes is becoming more and more popular because it is a cheaper and faster alternative to testing on real processes. ...With the optimizations we are able to increase productivity, enhance product quality and lower the production costs. Since the modeling can be very challenging, it is advisable to use a product that already provides tools for modeling and simulation. Such product is the Proficy Troubleshooter, which contains powerful analytical tools for acquiring knowledge about the production process from existing data. From the knowledge of the production process and knowledge acquired through Proficy Troubleshooter we can improve the processes. In addition, the model designed with this tool combined with the tool Proficy Cause + can builda real-time application for on-line parameter monitoring, which enables us a fast control action in case things go wrong (intelligent alarming).
