Zdravljenje stresne urinske inkontinence z matičnimi celicami - vizija prihodnosti? = Stem cells in the treatment of urinary stress incontinence - a vision of future?

Urinska inkontinenca je zdravstveni problem tretjine vseh žensk. V zdravljenju so se doslej uveljavili kirurški postopki, različna zdravila in fizioterapija. Naboru teh metod pa se je pridružila tudi ...nova - uporaba matičnih celic odraslega organizma. Matične celice lahko pri odraslem organizmu pridobimo iz progastih mišic, maščobnega tkiva ali iz mezenhimskih celic kostnega mozga. V laboratorijskih pogojih se pod vplivom različnih induktorjev razvijejo v normalno delujoče gladke ali progaste mišice. Klinično delo temelji na dokazih iz poskusov na živalih, ko so imunohistokemično dokazali novonastala mišična vlakna na mestu vnosa matičnih celic. Kot vir matičnih celic se pri zdravljenju stresne urinske inkontinence (SUI) uporablja bioptični material mišic nadlahti. S procesiranjem bioptičnega vzorca se diferencirajo matične celice, ki izvirajo iz mišic in se v lokalni anesteziji uvedejo v srednji del uretre in zunanji sfinkter uretre. Prvi rezultati zdravljenja SUI z vnosom matičnih celic, diferenciranih iz avtolognih mišic, kažejo na dobre razvojne perspektive tega področja. Zdravljenje z matičnimi celicami obeta, da bo postalo minimalna invazivna metoda za rekonstrukcijo mišic in vezivnega tkiva uretre in zunanjega uretralnega sfinktra.
