A KNN based algorithm for text categorization

In the recent decade categorization of web texts has experienced increased attention. Huge amount of textual information available on the web emerged a need to find and obtain relevant information ...for strategically supported decision. There are many machine learning algorithms dealing with text categorization and classification issues. In the paper the experiment has been conducted on the k-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) classifier. Because of its simplicity and effectiveness it is widely applied method in a field of machine learning and pattern recognition.
