The webinar focused on the pivotal role of teachers in fostering Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). It highlighted how ESD equips learners with the necessary knowledge, skills, values, and ...attitudes to make informed decisions and act for the environment and society. Through the ICCS 2022 Teacher Snippets, we explored classroom examples that actively promote citizenship and sustainability among students, demonstrating how these practices benefit wider communities. Drawing insights and data from the ICCS 2022 study, we emphasised the significance of student-centred learning approaches in cultivating a culture of sustainability. Participants gained valuable insights and practical strategies for integrating ESD into their teaching practice.
