  • The use of expert methods in the orientation of children into different sports
Leskošek, Bojan ; Bohanec, Marko, 1958- ; Rajkovič, Vladislav
The article presents a comparison between the primary evaluation of children'stalent for fifteen sports based on these children's morphologic and motor dispositions as evaluated by experts in direct ... ranking and the evaluation produced by selected expert methods. Following expert methods were used: NDP (weighted deviation from the champion model), NDN (weighted utility) and DEX (qualitative evaluation using decision rules). The research was based on a sample of twenty-five primary-school children aged seven and nine. These results show a relatively high correlation between the evaluations, which justifies the application of the methods employed in the expert models and systems, as well as its wider use in sport practice.
