Healthcare challenges in a time of demographical changes and long-lived society

Demographical changes are a domain of numerous scientific discussions of both developed as well as undeveloped societies. Slovenia is also facing an intense senescence of the population and longevity ...of society. Quality senescence is becoming an increasingly crucial existential question of every individual. That is why the social-political conjuncture must implement sustainable and socially accepted systemic adjustments in all areas of social life. Also in healthcare, which will have to be able to competently respond to the challenges of a longlived society but this is only possible with some reforming changes. Because the public is often overheard in social debates, our leading research question centres on the views of health service users on health care challenges in this time of demographical changes. The purpose of this research is to identify the views of health service users of all three generations on challenges and healthcare dilemmas in the current time of demographical changes and longevity of the Slovene society.
