    Property and property registration has been a challenge for cadastral units in almost all of Kosovo's territory. The causes are different, but one of the main reasons for almost all the units remains ... the lack of documentation or rather the inability to access them because a significant part has beenconfiscated by the Serbian regime.With these issues, the cadastre in Mitrovica has also faced. Reconstruction of cadastral information has been a separate challenge for municipal cadastral office officials (MCOs), since immovable property transactions by the Serb community were banned during the 1998-1999 occupation period.Reconstruction of cadastral information began with the decision of the Government. This decision was preceded by an assessment of factors bythe Municipal Cadastral Agenc(AMK) and the Municipal Cadastral Office (MCO).
