The results of the first study revealed that addict'sdepressive disorder was the most frequent diagnose in our sample of heroin and the second one anxiety disorder. The second study showed the problem of unreported double frequencies. The analysis of psychopharmacotherapy of heroin addicts with comorbid mental disorder was done. Patients with withdrawal symptoms received antipsychotics and benzodiazepines. Patients with depressive symptoms who were not on methadone treatment received antidepressants and benzodiazepines.
