Study of inclusions in primary and technical aluminium = Studium vméstkú v primárním a technickém hliníku

By origin the iclusions in primary and technical aluminium are endogenous and exogenous. In samples taken from elecrolytic cell and from the production line of casting of slabs and band inclusions ...were analysed with electron probe microanalyzer and high resolution Auger electron spectrometer. Analyses of electrolytic aluminium confirmed the presence of elements like magnesium, copper and molybdenium which is unknown from the literature. With electron probe microanalyser complexe inclusions of AlCaSiKNaClSC, AlCaSiOC, AlTiV, CaK(AlSi)ClC and similar were found in slabs and cast bands. Some of them can be removed during the wet metallographical preparation process. Results confirmed the importance of metallographic samples preparation technique, as well as sufficient ion etching for removal of surface oxides in Auger analyzing.
