  • Slovene (social) language varieties among the youth [Elektronski vir]

    The paper presents the findings of the research taking into account evaluation of spoken language among young people (12-18 years of age) in order to determine their attitude towards the language, ... the level of mastering it, the attitude towards the use of its social varieties, (un)awareness of its use, the attitude towards the foreign language elements intrusion, and to evaluate the language as an expression of identity. The research studies emphasise that language forming, development and evaluation are influenced by intralinguistic and extralinguistic factors, often personally marked. The results of the research indicate changes in evaluating the spoken language over time and social changes.
