V nalogi je obravnavana termomehanska analiza varnostnega injekcijskega cevovoda tlačnovodnega jedrskega reaktorja, katere cilj je preveriti vpliv obratovalnih tlakov in temperatur na obnašanje ... struktur cevovoda. Analiza je izvedena z metodo končnih elementov v programu Abaqus, kjer so definirane materialne lastnosti, robni pogoji ter obremenitve. Rezultati prikazujejo temperaturno in napetostno porazdelitev po cevovodu ter omogočajo oceno napetostno deformacijskega stanja na kritičnih mestih. Na podlagi dobljenih rezultatov je ocenjena varnost cevovoda glede na standarde jedrske industrije, kar potrjuje pojav napak v daljšem časovnem obdobju.
