Levels and disparities of retail prices in Slovenia

The present article represents the synthesis of seven investigations into interdomicile retail price' relations under the title "Retail prices in Slovenia, Austria and Italy (IEDP, 1990a). They have ...been carried out since 1984 within the research project "Price relations in Yugoslavia and comparison with foreign prices". The research work was conducted at the "Institute for Economic Diagnosis and Prognosis" at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration in Maribor. The purpose of investigation was to find out retail price levels in Slovenia (the most developed Yugoslav republic) in comparison with corresponding Italian and Austrian prices and relations that exist among Slovene prices.
