Internationalization still represents an obstacle for many companies with several years of experience, especially in the field of logistics. Similar problem s may be observes in other partner states ...given that Slovenian logistics sector bears the consequences of the economic crisis. The following paper analyses logistical obstacles when operating in international markets. More specifically, the analysis will i nvestigate directions in the field of logistics that may lead companies out of crisis as well as directions for long - term international operations. In particular, obstacles will be analyzed in the field of purchase logistics, transport, warehousing and dis tribution logistics in connection with the risk identification.
