Mrtvo drevje v pragozdu Pečka = Dead trees in the virgin forest of Pečka

Raziskava obravnava mrtvo drevje in njegove ostanke na raziskovalnih ploskvah pragozda Pečka na rastišču Abieti-Fagetum dinaricum. Obravnava štiri razpadne stadije: panje, gomile, ležeče ostanke, ...stoječa mrtva drevesa in njihove ostanke. Razpadne stadije smo opisali in določili izračun njihovega volumna. Razpadne stadije smo primerjali med seboj, ugotovili zakonitosti oblike razpada za bukev in jelko ter izvedli količinsko primerjavo z živim drevjem naraziskovalni povr{ini. Rezultati raziskave nakazujejo izredno pomembnost prisotnosti mrtvega drevja za vzdrževanje evolucijsko dosežene kompleksnosti gozdnega ekosistema, tudi v razmerah, ko v gozdu prevladujejo navidezni procesi razgradnje sestoja.
