    The research activities were focused on the study of current cotton finishing technologies to identify the possible technological improvements. The quality of waste waters originating from cotton ... finishing processes was determined and the appropriate waste water treatment process was found. The results of the research project clearly indicate that the catalytic wet oxidation process is the most efficient wastewater treatment process. All the parameters necessary for the experimental activities in the Tekstilna tovarna Prebold were defined. The obtained results were used for the kinetic equation that supports the reactor design.
