Preoblikovanje Al-zlitin v testastem stanju

Preoblikovanje Al-zlitin v testastem stanju se v svetu vedno bolj uveljavlja, ker predstavlja energetsko ugodnejšo obliko preoblikovanja. Poznanih je več vrst postopkov, ki temeljijo na ...preoblikovanju materiala z globularno mikrostrukturo, ki se v dvofaznem področju (L+[alfa]) vedejo thixotropno. Najbolj sta se uveljavili dve glavni vrsti teh postopkov, to sta thixocasting in rheocasting, ki se razlikujeta predvsem po načinu priprave surovca za preoblikovanje. Predstavljene bodo značilnosti obeh postopkov, njune prednosti in pomanjkljivosti. Prikazane bodo mikrostrukture in nekaj značilnih napak, ki se pojavljajo pri preoblikovanju v testastem stanju. Makro- in mikrostrukturne preiskave ulitkov iz podevtektskega silumina A356 in A357 so pokazale odlično homogenost in dokaj enakomerno velikost globularnih zrn primarno strjene faze, ki pa se je na specifičnih področjih pričela raztapljati, najbolj verjetno zaradi lokalnega pregretja. Ob površini ulitkov pa je bil ugotovljen povečan delež evtektika.
