Dilemmas of e-inclusion in the context of intergenerational dialogue = Dileme e-uključivanja u kontekstu međugeneracijskog dijaloga

The paper discusses the problem of e-inclusion in the context of intergenerational dialogue. The term einclusion usually refers to the degree of the gap of the access to ICT technologies and ICT ...based services between groups of different social, economic, and geographic entities. It is noticeable that age and generation membership has a significant role in everyday ICT competences. However the membership of certain generation is often connected to contemporary structure of the individualćs social network, social status, economic wealth and geographical dispersion of their social network. The paper presents the some terminology of information society, describes examples of intergenerational dialog in various areas. Brief overview of contemporary and future ICT technologies and ICT based services and their current implications on intergenerational dialogue are given. Research proposals to explore the relationships between e-inclusion and intergenerational dialogue are shown. Some essential dilemmas of the progress of the society in which intergenerational dialogue has significant role are unveiled.
