  • Generalized plasticity and unaxial constrained recovery in shape memory alloys

    In this article uniaxial constrained recovery is modelled using the theory of generalized plasticity, which was developed by J. Lubliner and F. Auricchio. As a mechanical obstacle that delays free ... recovery in a shape memory alloy wire, a bias spring made of an ordinary material is used. Two flow rules are used in the modellingČ linear and exponential.
