  • Key success factors of innovations
    Bastič, Majda
Market life cycles for products are getting shorter, and consequently companies can successfully compete on such markets only through acts of innovations. But a new product design itself is not a ... guarantee for the product's success. The significant finding of several researches investigating successful and unsuccessful new products was that a superior new product is the most important successful factor of a new product. For this reason an attribute matrix is described in this paper. It can be useful tool in defining the new product because it supports decisions leading to the higher quality of a new product defined in accordance to the needs and expectations of customer, and to shorter time for product definition in concurrent engineering.
